Itinerary 

This page provides the itinerary for the TWI for the Children camps to children in Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia - Herzegovina and in Montenegro and  links to coordination planning for volunteers going with TWI to these camps. The Activity section shows the TWI team itinerary. The Camp Journal contains notes from TWI volunteers concerning their recollections of what occurred at the camps and leadership workshop.

  6/29/2010 Tuesday	Travel to Pristina, Kosovo Overnight in Pristina
  6/30/2010 Wednesday	Camp 1 in Kosovo: Morning: Primary School “Ali Hadri” Mirash village.  Primary School “Ali Hadri” in Mirash village is in a rural  village in the Ferizaj Region. In this school QPEA organized some activities. At this school camp will be  volunteers from QPEA .  A reason why this school is include this year is because the children need to be more active in these workshops. A second reason is to motivate and to exchange experiences between volunteers of  Mirash village and TWI Volunteers from USA.   Camp 2: Afternoon: Primary School “Naim Frashëri:, Zaskok village Primary School “Naim Frashëri” in Zaskok village also is in Ferizaj Region. In this school  children are from two communities: Albanian and Roma communities. Before the war in this village were also Serbian communities but after the war, they are not living here. In this school QPEA has organized a lot of activities: Small Consulting Center for Children, Youth and Parents are in this village, because there are many children with special needs and children with difficult learning. Also in this school exist a Voluntary Group included as a QPEA project. Also in this school we have some other volunteers who organized English and Albanian Courses for these children.  Making a workshop in this school is a good opportunities for these  communities.   Overnight in Pristina
  7/1/2010 Thursday	Camp 3 and Camp 4: in Kosovo  Primary School “Skënderbeu”, Jezerc village   Overnight in Kosovo
  7/2/2010 Friday	Camp 5: Primary School “Skënderbeu”, Jezerc village, part II  Primary School “Skënderbeu” is in Jezerc village. It  is a historic village. Battles in this village were the most dangerous in Ferizaj Region. Jezerc is a rural village, in the mountains. A village is separated in some streets. So in this village exist one school and also one other small school in another rural street Ukëzmajli. The reason why we chose this school has multi-aims. The first aim is to motivated people of Jezerc to stay in the village. Because everyday some family  emigrate from Jezerc. The second reason is that some children of this school are traumatized from the war. The third reason is that Jezerc has very beautiful, so that can be more relaxing time for TWI teams.   Overnight in Kosovo
